Your teeth play an essential role in your daily life. Tooth loss can significantly impact your ability to eat, speak, and smile confidently. Without teeth, chewing becomes difficult, speech may become unclear, and your smile loses its natural charm. At Kennedy Heights Dental Centre, we can restore your smile and oral function with high-quality full and partial dentures.
The most common cause of tooth loss is gum disease (periodontal disease). Plaque and bacteria buildup can irritate the gums, leading to inflammation. If left untreated, this can cause teeth to loosen and fall out.
Other causes include:

Dentures are a traditional yet highly effective solution for replacing missing teeth. Standard complete dentures replace an entire arch of teeth and consist of artificial teeth attached to a gum-colored acrylic base.
Thanks to modern advancements, today’s dentures are lighter, more comfortable, and look impressively natural. Custom-made from precise impressions of your mouth, your dentures will fit securely and function efficiently.
Before you leave our office, we ensure:
Once fitted, your dentures will restore your ability to eat, speak, and smile with ease!
Partial dentures are removable appliances designed to fill gaps where natural teeth are missing. Unlike complete dentures, partial dentures replace only a section of teeth, using metal clasps to attach securely to your remaining healthy teeth.
Benefits of Partial Dentures:
If you’re missing only a few teeth, partial dentures are an excellent, cost-effective option for restoring your smile.
When you have healthy teeth remaining, partial dentures allow you to keep them while filling in the gaps left by missing teeth. Metal clasps provide additional support, and there’s no need for unnecessary extractions.
In cases where multiple teeth in a row are missing and neighboring teeth are healthy, bridges may also be recommended. Bridges require proper care and routine dental visits to maintain their longevity and prevent decay around the supporting teeth.
