What Is a Dental Implant?
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that provide a stable base for fixed or removable replacement teeth. Widely considered the gold standard for tooth replacement, implants offer exceptional durability and functionality.
Each dental implant consists of three key components:
Implants can replace a single missing tooth, multiple teeth, or even a full arch of teeth. They are the only restorative solution that not only restores your smile but also prevents bone deterioration over time.
The Benefits of Dental Implants
At Kennedy Heights Dental, we proudly provide dental implants to patients throughout Richmond, Langley, Delta, and beyond. Dental implants offer numerous advantages:
Thanks to their strength and realistic appearance, dental implants offer a lasting solution that looks and feels just like natural teeth.
Dental Implant Procedure
Our dentists perform most dental implant procedures in-office. During your consultation, we’ll explain the process in detail and answer any questions you may have.
Here’s what to expect:
Titanium and zirconium are biocompatible metals that naturally bond with bone, creating a stable and durable foundation for your restoration.
How Long Can Dental Implants Last?
With proper care, dental implants can last many years even a lifetime! Factors that influence longevity include:
Regular dental checkups and good daily care are essential to maximizing the lifespan of your implant.
While dental implants are a fantastic solution for many, they may not be suitable for everyone. A consultation with your dentist is the best way to determine if implants are right for you.
